Scoring is the centerpiece of the PoET experience. With one click, recorded session data is sent for analysis and a detailed breakdown of the writing session is returned, covering overall effort, content accountability, cognitive engagement, editing activity, and content authenticity by document section. Beyond scoring, PoET can generate a sealed artifact file that serves as a permanent, verifiable record of how a document was written. That artifact can be shared with editors, instructors, or institutions as proof of authorship and effort. For writers who need to share a clean copy of their document without any recorded data attached, PoET includes a Strip function that permanently removes all session data from the file after two confirmation steps.
